What is Green Friday at Aery Living?

Black Friday is a retail calendar date! You're most likely familiar with the confusion and frantic spending toward the end of November. Shopping around for the best price, most likely getting some Christmas shopping done and comparing prices. It can be hysterical at times!

Right from the get go it's been our mission to create eco-friendly home fragrance allowing you to wind down the right way through life's simple pleasures. So, why not create a calm and peaceful shopping experience in which you know you're doing a little bit of good at the same time.

We're passionate about sustainable practices here at Aery Living, but sometime it can be hard to convey your message in such a busy time. Which is why we have and will continue to keep it simple with our Green Friday initiative.

Throughout each stage of the process from creation to delivery we're always reviewing our standards, ensuring we never veer far from our values.


Some of the measures we have taken to guarantee this include making sure our products are free from: plastic where possible and always free from palm, paraffin and GMO’s. In addition to this, everything we stock is vegan, recyclable and will be delivered by a carbon neutral carrier. Since we have taken production in house too we're proud to say we're zero to landfill to.

We're using our Green Friday initiative to give a little back. We've been a partner of Ecologi since 2020. Since then we have planted 35,000 trees! Together we have offset tons of carbon along with helping to fund many community projects across the globe. 

As we approach a busy and frantic shopping season we see this as an opportunity to offset any carbon that we generate. Across this time we increase our tree planting for every order so you can shop consciously and we can ship consciously.

Tree planting is one of the best ways to help tackle the climate crisis. Trees act like a sponge and absorb the carbon present in the atmosphere whilst also producing oxygen. A recent study suggests that forests could help keep global warming below 2°C by 2030. As well as this, trees also help to prevent flooding, support wildlife and improve soil quality.
